Hoje estou começando uma jornada pelas minhas amostras de L'Artisan Parfumeur. Tive a chance de testar a coleção Le Potager, que explora extratos vegetais em combinação com materiais clássicos. Vetiver Écarlate pode ser um dos mais tradicionais nesta linha, considerando que a folha de tomate não é incomun, sendo usada desde o lançamento de Sisley Eau de Campagne. Aqui temos um vetiver verde e vegetal direto ao ponto: a abertura cheira a grama e folhas recém cortadas, como se você tivesse gálbano e folha de tomate juntos. A toranja adiciona um toque amargo-fresco e traz o vetiver para a abertura. Conforme o perfume vai secando você percebe que há uma mistura de vetiver gramíneo-úmido e algo mais mineral como se houssse musks, iso e super e outros sintéticos que sustentam a ideia. Uma ótima mistura de abordagem clássica do vetiver modernizado da maneira certa.

Today i'm starting a journey through my L'Artisan Parfumeur samples. I got a chance to test their Le Potager collection, which explores vegetable extracts in combination with classical materials. Vetiver Écarlate might be one of the more traditional in this line, considering that tomato leaf might not unusual but it has been used since the launch of Sisley Eau de Campagne. Here we have a straightfoward green and vegetable vetiver: the opening smells grassy and green, like you had galbanum and tomato leaf together. The grapefruit adds a bitter-fresh edge and brings the vetiver to the opening. As the perfume driesdown you notice that there is a mix of humid-grassy vetiver and something more mineral like there is musk, iso e super and other synthethics supporting the idea. Great classic take on vetiver modernized in the right way.
