Hoje a avaliação é do Dries Van Noten Rock the Myrrh. Finalmente me interessei por um perfume dessa linha que não parece ter sido baseado exatamente em outro perfume. E é interessante que aqui temos um perfumista pouco conhecido no mercado - um que talvez não seja alguém reutilizando estruturas olfativas para criar novas fragrâncias.
Essa fragrância é interessante pelo fato de que após a última emenda da IFRA de 2020 criar uma fragrância da mirra agora é uma questão de ilusão: você só pode usar cerca de 0,50% de mirra natural na formulação.
Esta fragrância parece usar algumas bases animálicas, âmbar e talvez oud para criar uma ilusão de mirra, dosando-a com o que é possível do natural para convencer o olfato. Eu sinto que boa parte disso se deve a um patchouli terroso, mas luminoso aqui, com um dorável toque apimentado. De alguma forma, sinto uma ilusão do aroma de rosas, mas não sei se é a ilusão de ver a rosa devido aos materiais de patchouli e âmbar frequentemente utilizados juntos. Tem um cheiro familiar, mas não como se fosse baseado em algo específico.

Today the review is for Dries Van Noten Rock the Myrrh. I finally got interested in a perfume from this line that doesn't seem to be based exactly on another perfume. And it's interesting that here we have a little-known perfumer in the market - one who is perhaps not someone reusing olfactory structures to create new fragrances.
This fragrance is interesting for the fact that after the last IFRA amendment of 2020 creating a myrrh fragrance is now a matter of illusion: you can only use about 0.50% of natural myrrh in the formulation.
This fragrance seems to use some animalic bases, amber and perhaps oud to create an illusion of myrrh, dosing it with what is possible from the natural to convince the nose. I feel a good part of that is due to an earthy but bright patchouli here, with a lingering pepperiness. I somehow feel an illusion of the scent of roses, but I don't know if it's the illusion of seeing the rose due to the patchouli and amber materials often used together. It has a familiar smell, but not like it's based on anything specific.
